My daughter and I went here after hiking Piestewa Peak, one of the few restaurants open on Christmas Day. We have done this before and we are never disappointed with the food or service.
Food was awesome, my sister and I shared the Mexican Pizza with Chicken. It's 2 extra large flour tortillas so flaky, hot and great.. the chicken was very good, the flavor awesome. Next time we're getting it with ground beef. I can taste the goodness just thinking about it. My great nephew had 2 soft tacos with rice and beans in a taco bowl. He said his 'Mexico food was the best ever' coming from a 7yr old.
We came in on a Saturday for lunch. The service was very fast, friendly and food was so DELICIOUS!! Just as all the reviews suggest, it is a great spot to try. Tasty chips with salsa and spicy bean dip. We tried the carnitas burrito and beef taco plate.
Hands-down, the best Mexican food I have ever had. I ate here Sunday night for my last meal before leaving Phoenix, and it was probably my favorite meal I had while visiting. The staff were very friendly from the moment we stepped foot in the restaurant. They all checked on us multiple times throughout our meal and were very accommodating to us, as someone in our party was vegetarian. I also enjoyed that the menu had visual pictures of what was included with each menu item. I ordered the sampler platter and enjoyed everything that was on it. I will come here again in the future!

I really enjoy the chill, low-light atmosphere—it’s perfect for a relaxed meal with friends or family. The service is outstanding, especially from Maria and the rest of the staff who go above and beyond. I highly recommend trying their Margaritas and the delicious “White Sands” dish. A true local gem!

She crafted an outstanding Prickly Pear Margarita and made sure we were well taken care of throughout the evening. Miranda’s service was not only efficient and attentive but also warm and accommodating. The food was equally impressive—the classic chips and salsa were fresh and satisfying, and the Happy Hour offerings were a definite highlight. Overall, Aribba Mexican Grill excels in atmosphere, service, and delicious food, making it a top choice for a lively dining experience.
Usually just get takeout from here, but the dine in was superior! Love the atmosphere, tables were pretty clean, everyone was friendly, food was AMAZING! I asked for a pina colada with like only half a shot, perfect. The queso fundido was a bit rich, but the salsa cut through it perfectly. Got the chile relleno and the server did kinda ask me if I was okay that it was spicy and half also asked if I had it before. A bit funny but I know she was just trying to make sure I had a good time there, which I appreciate. I loved it and I didn’t think it was THAT spicy to warrant the multiple questions, but I get it. I truly felt like all the staff wanted everyone to have a good experience. Great prices too. This will become a go to spot. Have already recommended this place to 3 coworkers!!
